About College of West Anglia

The College of West Anglia (CWA) is one of the largest further and higher education providers in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, offering vocational courses, apprenticeships, adult learning, and university‑level programs across campuses in King’s Lynn, Wisbech, and Milton, plus a dedicated sports campus. Founded in 1894 as the King’s Lynn Technical School, it has grown through key mergers in 1998 and 2006 and now supports around 7,400–10,000 learners annually with the help of approximately 750–800 staff. The college focuses on preparing students for employment or university through modern facilities, specialist training centres, and partnerships such as those with Anglia Ruskin University. The college continues to invest in developing skills, technology, and community learning.
