NAAME, Knowledge Pioneer Finalists
NAAME announced as Knowledge Pioneer Finalists in Norfolk Business Awards 2020.
NAAME has embarked on an incredible journey since its inception in 2011 and reinvigoration in 2015. What started as a small group of businesses has developed into an industry-led network that now provides the foundation for the region’s emerging engineering and manufacturing cluster. Through strong relationships and collaboration between industry, public sector (inc. trade associations) and academic institutions, NAAME has been integral to supporting and building a manufacturing and engineering community within East Anglia, and we are only just getting started!
Knowledge Pioneers
On the 24th November, NAAME were announced as finalists in the ‘Knowledge Pioneer’ category for the EDP Norfolk Business Awards. Other finalists included; Watr and Developing Experts. Although we did not win the award, which went to the Broads Authority, we felt that the nomination is a big step forward for the group and we look forward to continue to be ‘Knowledge Pioneers’ within our sector.
The NAAME Industry Council would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members for your support over the years and making this nomination possible. We look forward to continuing our efforts to connect the regional supply chain and source new funding streams and collaboration opportunities to support your business.
About NAAME
NAAME is a free membership support network that aims to create a supportive environment for its members to connect, share knowledge and best practice and build their supply chains. Since 2011, the network has supported industry to grow, develop new products and processes, lobby local government, secure funding for major projects and initiatives, access funding opportunities, win new contracts and much more.
NAAME has six regional manufacturing groups (with a seventh soon to launch!) across Norfolk and Suffolk. Each group is made up of like-minded senior decision makers within the manufacturing and engineering sector, truly championing the region, sharing & solving challenges and sparking innovation. The manufacturing groups regularly invite expert speakers discussing topical themes set by industry. In a pandemic free environment, these meetings are hosted at an industry business, incorporating a tour and showcase a different business at each meeting.
