Lintott Guest Presents at Queen's Award Awareness Event

James Thums MBE, Chief Operating Officer, Lintott Control System & NAAME Chair was delighted to ‘guest present’ at Norfolk County Council’s recent breakfast meeting, convened to promote the Queen’s Award for Enterprise across the Norfolk and Suffolk region.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the UK’s most prestigious business awards, given only to those who are outstanding in their field. They are awarded to businesses for outstanding achievement in four categories; International Trade, Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility).

Lintott was awarded the accolade in 2018 (for the Innovation category). COO, Jamie Thums MBE, provided some suggestions as to how organisations can approach the application process. This complimented presentations from fellow businesses such as Adnams and PCE Automation, regarding the business benefits of winning the accolade.
