In this session, hear from an Export Finance Manager who will guide you through UKEF’s government-backed trade finance products and solutions. We’ll focus on practical ways to help new-to-export businesses when taking their first steps in trading overseas, as well as established exporters looking to grow. You’ll also hear directly from a business that has benefitted from UKEF support.

The session will conclude with a live Q&A, giving you an opportunity to ask questions.

 About UK Export Finance (UKEF):

UKEF is a UK government ministerial department and the nation’s export credit agency (ECA). UKEF helps exporters access working capital and manage the risk of not getting paid by offering a government guarantee. We partner with private sector finance providers and other countries’ export credit agencies to grow UK exports and international trade.

UKEF supports companies of all sizes and multiple sectors across the UK to:

  • Win export contracts by guaranteeing finance to buyers so they can source from the UK
  • Fulfil more orders by unlocking working capital to take on new or higher value contracts

Malcom is an Export Finance Manager based in North West England for UK Export Finance, the UK’s Export Credit Agency. UKEF’s mission is to ensure that no viable UK export fails for lack of finance or insurance from the private sector, while operating at no net cost to the taxpayer, and ensuring sustainability. Before joining UKEF in July 2021, He spent 38 years with Lloyds Bank in various roles relating to International Trade Finance. Malcom enjoys using his experience to help businesses to export, trade safely, and get paid.
