Opportunities in the Space Sector for Manufacturers

We’re excited to be collaborating with the newly formed Space East Cluster to bring you this event, raising awareness of the opportunities that working in the Space Sector has for manufacturing and engineering firms across the East of England.

Space East is the newest of the UK’s UK Space Agency (UKSA)supported Space Clusters. Hosted by New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership and supported by UKSA, Satellite Applications Catapult (SAC) and the European Space Agency (ESA), Space East aims to support business growth and economic prosperity through opening up opportunities in this £17.5 billion sector and developing a thriving, engaged and supportive community for the East of England.

Agenda;

  • We will introduce you to Equipmake and the AST (Advanced Satellite Technology) group for real insights into leveraging the opportunities presented through the space sector.
  • SAC and ESA representatives will provide details of how they are supporting businesses moving into and operating in the sector and some of the funding streams available.
  • Finally we will facilitate a roundtable discussion and networking session to explore how your business might utilise your existing expertise and capabilities to tap into, add value and benefit from the exciting space sector.

Spaces are limited so please register your interest early to avoid disappointment. This is the first exciting event of many planned in this sector.
