National Food and Drink Summit 2023

Join food and drink SMEs for the National Food and Drink Summit 2023, a Defra event for SME producers in England supporting their growth and resilience.

The second Defra food and drink Summit will include a choice of workshops covering finance and resilience, skills, innovation and routes to market, to help inspire you on the next steps for your business’s growth. As well as hearing from businesses who have trodden similar paths (including Fevertree, TRIBE and YumChop), the event’s Marketplace will feature a number of support bodies who will be on hand for you to discuss your business’ needs. These include teams from the Department for Business and Trade who will be offering export support, representatives from the Department for Education to share details of apprenticeships and other recruitment opportunities, Made Smarter, Innovate UK, the British Business Bank, UK Export Finance, SALSA – to name but a few!

Meet the Buyer

This year we are also pleased to include a ‘Meet the Buyer’ session, where selected attendees will have the opportunity to speak to a buyer about their products. We’re now inviting applications from registered attendees who would like to opportunity to speak to an ASDA buyer about their products and their journey to retail.
