East Suffolk Clean Hydrogen Conference

Welcome to East Suffolk Council’s Clean Hydrogen Conference.

This year, our conference will be held in a dedicated conference hall at BT’s Adastral Park, a leading cluster of high-tech telecommunications and technology companies at the heart of the UK’s digital ecosystem.

Working with our delivery partner, Hydrogen East, we will be doing things a little differently in 2024. The conference will be opened with a Keynote Speech from the Chief Executive of Hydrogen UK, Clare Jackson, who will provide an overview of the UK’s hydrogen sector and also describe how her own organisation is working towards the development and deployment of hydrogen solutions nationally.

Our supporters including Hydrogen East, Conrad Energy, Sizewell C, ScottishPower and Freeport East have lined up a series of Plenary Presentations that will consider the future for hydrogen and next generation fuels across the east of England, describing how key hydrogen projects are already under development across east Suffolk and touching on the commercial opportunities that could be unlocked locally.

Following a buffet lunch, delegates will be allocated to one of three facilitated Workshops that are designed to prompt a focussed discussion on one of three key areas for development:

• Agriculture,
• Infrastructure,
• Transport/Mobility.
